Turkoman Tekke Carpet

Handwoven Turkoman Tekke Carpet in shades of deep burgundy and burnt orange. Symmetrical and geometric patterns repeat around the field border, while the field reflects traditional Elephant Foot motif — also known as guls, a hallmark of Bokhara rugs and commonly seen in Turkoman weaving traditions.

Measures 5'9" x 7'8".

In good antique condition. Sun fading present at both ends of carpet, as noted in photographs.
