Hand-stitched printed cotton quilt with cotton batting in the original Emily Payne print 'Channel', part of our limited edition La Condesa collection. Any irregularity in printing should be not be viewed as a defect but rather celebrated as a hallmark of the printing process used to make this piece.
To make our hand-stitched quilts, the Jacobsen pattern is translated onto cotton fabric using a hand-block printing process. The front and back cotton panels are then hand-sewn together and filled with lightweight cotton batting. Our weavers then begin to meticulously hand-stitch the quilting detail.
