BEING CREATIVE • CREATIVE BEING with Steven Emerson
BEING CREATIVE, CREATIVE BEING
A workshop facilitated by Steven Emerson
“I believe that we are all born creative, and that creative expression is essential to our well-being.” — Steven Emerson
After his first workshop sold out quickly, Steven is bringing back the same experiential workshop for those who missed it the first time: a chance to reconnect with your innate creativity in a playful, supportive space. Because creativity isn’t just for artists, it’s an essential part of being human.
Through writing, drawing, and improvisation, you'll explore self-expression, quiet your inner critic, and let go of the idea that creativity belongs to only a select few. Whether you consider yourself "artistic" or not, this workshop is for you.

Meet Steven Emerson
For over 40 years, Steven Emerson has explored creativity in many forms. He has toured the U.S. and Europe as the drummer of an indie rock band, released three solo albums, and scored feature films. His creative journey has also led him to writing, directing, and acting in a film that screened at multiple festivals, as well as studying acting, improv, and stand-up comedy.
For Steven, creativity is more than just a pursuit; it is a source of nourishment. The act of bringing something into existence—a song, a poem, a painting—feels like the closest thing to magic. Even after four decades, he still finds it exhilarating.
