Antique English Georgian blanket chest with working lock and key, circa 1810. Molded edges, interior panel shelf. Raised separate stand with stile feet. Original pierced brass lock plate, brass handles, traditional iron strap hinges, and internal brass chain. The chest opens to a large interior storage area for blankets, bedding, pillows, clothing, and more.
Measures 35" long, 19.5" deep, 20" tall including stand, chest alone is 10.5" tall.
In beautiful antique condition. Scratching, dents, and other hallmarks of time that are commensurate with age and use.
